The problem is that the population of [location] is rapidly growing which makes it challenging for the government to provide reasonable healthcare services.

The sad reality doesn’t end there.

As a result of such extreme poverty, fathers leave their families and move to the city for work, sending all they have back home to feed their families.

For some, children are left to fend for themselves in order to find food and shelter out of necessity.

We believe realities like this shouldn’t exist. Anywhere. Father’s shouldn’t have to choose between providing for their family or being present with them to guide, love and protect them.

We believe lasting change happens in the community when people are treated fairly and given the tools they need to escape poverty so they can provide a reasonably happy life for their family and spend time with the ones they love again.

And at the [Organization Name], that’s exactly what we’re doing with the help of committed partners who year after year invest in lives rather than excess money for themselves.

Meet Noor. Her story paints the true picture of the reality so many people are living in. We first met Noor when she stepped foot into one of our orphanages. As we cared for her and got to know her, she opened up and shared her story.

She came to us after running away from abuse in her home. She saw her father kill her mother, and ran. We had the privilege of not only providing her with a place to stay, but the professional help she needed through counselors trained in trauma.

And we didn’t stop there. Once she received the help she needed, we were able to get all of her other siblings and keep them all together in the same orphanage.

Since 2012, we’ve helped people just like Noor - over 700,000 of them feel hope again.

Our mission is to equip impoverished communities with the tools they need to escape poverty and become self-sustainable.

Our mission is to equip impoverished communities with the tools they need to escape poverty and become self-sustainable.

We do this by creating sustainable rhythms of aid, education and development so that lives are changed for the good and they’re able to give back to their families and communities.

We do this by:

First easing their tension, through providing meals, shelter, medical aid.
Then we teach them the trades they need to improve their life and provide Oxford level education they need at no extra cost.

In this way, we’re able to hold their hand through the entire process and not let go until they’re ready to succeed in life and feel their worth as human beings again.

We believe that to change communities and fight poverty, sex trafficking and hunger, you have to start with one person which is why we’ve created the Noor Project.

One of our mantras around here is Surgeries, Not Bandaids, and that is literally what we’re doing through our health clinics.

We don’t give people money.

Our goal is to connect your generosity directly to creating opportunities for people to create a path through education and aid towards sustainable work and a future.

We do this by giving them dignity and value so they can create a strong mindset. Then we give them the opportunity to work and guide them through the entire process of their life so they can impact their communities.

In this way we’re creating a domino effect of change.

We take an entrepreneurial mindset to everything we do, similar to organizations like Charity Water, so that we can strategically impact the most amount of people we can and stretch your donation to its fullest impact.

We put our deep passion and vast experience building systems that last behind every project we create so that thriving communities last well beyond our lifetimes.

"My father worked day and night cleaning people’s cars, yet only managed enough money to provide food and shelter. I was deprived of education until I registered at The Noor Grammar School. My life is full of high aims and hopes now!"

What we do at The [Organization Name]:

It's all about satiability helping people to stand on their feet. The people we serve are in the dark deprived of their rights and survival needs. They are unable to provide for themselves and their families. They do not know where their next meal is going to come from. Unskilled and lacking education, they are unable to have a job or maintain a stable job.

What we do to enable communities to become self-sufficient:

We believe, and have seen, the impact that is made for poverty-stricken communities as a result of giving the right tools and guidance: a more prominent change emerges that empowers the communities to thrive in the wake of poverty. disease and lack of education. We teach our patrons to learn how to stand on their own feet, make a good living and become independent.

How do we do it?

We Add Vocational Classes For the Adult Family Members of Our Community

Our career workshops empower community members with the skills they need to become self-sufficient. These short term, nine classes with nine different trades are six month classes which teaches vital skills in the areas of stitching, Beauty, Computer skills, Embroidery, plumbing, electrical, and more. Upon graduation, our Patrons have a higher edge in their competitive job market.

How do they survive while we give the adult family members the skill to find well-paying jobs in the market?

Upon enlistment in our workshops courses of six months we take care of families' basic needs, temporary relief for example hot, freshly made, and nutritional meals daily. Food bank gives them monthly ration, healthcare, Dental and free medicine from our Pharmacy.

Note from the Founder

When we give someone charity,

We should be thankful to them.

We may be fixing their dunya, (worldly life),

but they are fixing our akhirah (here after),

The best among us are those who are best for others.

Why we are doing this:

Because we are best for others and we will stand up for the less fortunate ones.

We are thankful to Allah (Lord) for giving us the opportunity to be in this position we are fortunate.

The great thing about the human species is --- that we, the fortunate ones --- can stand up --- for the unfortunate ones.
